The Circle of Life was officially launched at the House of Lords on Tuesday 15th March to announce that the charity is to become an international concern to fight world poverty and famine. Guests from all over the UK attended and were addressed by Saeed Hama the chairman of the charity and Lord Nazir Ahmed an Ambassador.

COL charity’s team accompanied BBC Asian Network’s correspondent Rahilo Bano in Basti Lal-Pir to discuss aftermaths of floods which enabled us to calculate stats for the proposed installation of a new water filtration plant to ease a small town of over 1500 occupants.

A charity fund raising dinner organized on 2nd October at Conference Suit, West Bromwich in which over 800 people turned up and raised a massive amount of £120K for the flood relief efforts in Pakistan. The event was aired on Prime TV, coverage on BBC Radio, BBC Midland News, BBC Asian Network, Radio XL and also featured in Awam weekly.
